Mainline Maine Coons

Welcome to Maineline Maine Coons. We are a small hobby breeder of the magnificent Maine Coon cat, based in the Midlands.

Maine Coons are one of the most natural cat breeds and are large, stocky cats with semi-long fur, long feathered tails and large forward-pointing lynx tipped ears. Imported to the UK from America in the 1980s, they are fast becoming one of the most popular breeds in the country.

We have owned Maine Coons since 2002 and have been captivated by their loving and playful personalities. They are quite happy to play all day with their human companions, always ready with a purr and a welcoming chirrup, another characteristic of the breed. They are happy to be with you and be involved in daily life, but also love to stretch their legs in the garden chasing, running and being enviably athletic.

Our cats are brought up in our home, and are exposed to all aspects of family life, from vacuums to visitors, children and noise and also have access to safe and secure outside space. They are confident, curious, fun-loving individuals and are amazing company.
